The Pilgrim Pauses

The Pilgrim paused along the pathway this afternoon to catch his breath. Nathan took this picture of me near the old McDonald Mine, north of Bancroft.

I walked quite a bit today and didn't have any problems with my bursitis. It's been quite good lately. My arthritic ankle is awfully sore this evening but that's understandable. The Pilgrim didn't take his cane with him and he should have.

Thanks for your prayers for my health concerns, my Pilgrim Pals. I've been feeling much better the last few days. Maybe it's the half tin of pineapple that I'm eating twice a day. I've had so many suggestions from caring friends and this one seems to be working. Thanks, Cliff!

  1. Will be praying for U my brother - Looking for good replys as GOD touches that body of yours - we are to pray - specially for health so that we may serve -- remember Mueller my brother , how GOD restored and kept for service - U know better than I - "the check is in the mail" so when we go to the mail box, we are "looking" expecting to find a check in the mail, -- SO , we look for answers to petitions that we offered up , borne by THE AUTHORITY OF GOD HIMSELF , neat stuff - yes, brother David, "the check is in the mail" - I take a back seat to your Christian service anytime, your a better man than I ----- Bob

  2. Just thought I'd let you know that it's the bromelain in the pineapple that works so well...whenever I have an inflammatory pain, I always take a capsule or two of Bromelain on an empty stomach and it works quickly...might be cheaper than tins of pineapple, and less sugary, too :) Glad to hear that you are feeling better, though.

  3. So glad to hear you are doing better. Yummm, I would eat pineapple anytime. Even if nothing is bothering me I would think it would help to keep "something" at bay! LOL!
