The Pilgrim Pathway

This afternoon the boys and I and their friend Alex went to Bancroft, Ontario. We always enjoy going up on the Eagle's Nest, a high piece of land that overlooks the town and the neighboring area. As you know, I love country lanes (see header) and I took a few photos of them today.

Hope you have a great week! May you sense the Lord's presence as you trust Him each step of the way!

"You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." - Psalm 16:11 (NIV)

"The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day." - Proverbs 4:18 (NIV)

Which path are you taking, dear friend?

Also, wanted to tell you I posted a similar picture and comment "Walking in the Ways" as I've been meditating through 1Samuel that you might find interesting. And finally, I have a family connection to Jim Elliot if you check out my "Guess who came to dinner post!" And I love nascar too! And I have an cousin in the OPP and an Aunt and Uncle in Markham. Can you tell I read your profile??? Anyway, small world :) You have a great blog.

  2. Beautiful photos! I love pathways, too, and forests...you should see all the photos I take when we go camping in your province (just outside Ottawa, actually). My dad takes a lot of photos, too, when we are camping, and I think his are the best... but I did get some really special shots of a pathway with sunlight shining into it, and one looked like a Monet painting because I moved the camera a bit! I thought of Psalm 16:11 right away when I reached for my camera to capture my pathway shot, too.

Have a blessed day in the Lord.

    P.S.
Don't you think you have close to 40 readers now? I keep seeing more names on your comments,a nd hearing about people who read your blog, too. And when is your famous nephew going to comment, or at least let us know that he reads all that we have to say about him and his team?! Don't worry, I've got soemthing up my sleeve...you'll know by tomorrow.
