Cheering and Refreshing

Recently I quoted a verse from Paul's letter to Philemon while responding to a dear brother who has blessed me so much by his intercession on our behalf. Thanks, Bob!

Tonight I called a friend who I've known since I was a little kid. Paul Collet has been a mentor and a spiritual giant in my life. I'm so grateful to God that he is still alive...still blessing me and interceding for me. Thanks, Paul!

I echo the words of the beloved apostle which he penned to Philemon, his "dear friend and fellow worker":

"For I have derived great joy and comfort and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints [who are your fellow Christians] have been cheered and refreshed through you, [my] brother." - Philemon vs. 7

May it be said of each of us that we cheer and refresh those who we rub shoulders with and, yes, those who refresh us from a distance.

God is faithful!

  1. I think it was Elijah, went to a cave and said - I only I am left and the Lord said no Elijah - there are 7000 out there that have not bowed to idols - He felt "alone" the great Elijah - if we could only "see" hundreds, no thousands , no millions of angels -ministers to the elect -- Carol and David in Cavon, surrounded by HIS TROOPS -- HE is watching and guarding and knows the needs - help us to pray Lord for your servants - finances and decisions , help us to raise your BANNER OH GOD -- ---
