Bathroom Breaks

There's a little book of quotes by and about the late preacher A. W. Tozer in our downstairs bathroom. Each day I pick it up and I'm challenged by his sage and wise comments.

This morning I read, "Every ransomed man owes his salvation to the fact that during the days of his sinning, God kept the door of mercy open by refusing to accept any of his evil acts as final."

The accompanying Scripture is from Ephesians 2:4,5 "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved."

I'm grateful that the door of mercy remains open!

  1. Just came in from "church" good msg on James - practical Christianity , yes on the great Tozer , and a BIG YES on His Mercy, I trust the Lord will make it fresh on this soul , of how grateful I was when I got saved - -being grateful/appreciative of Grace will show to others and to GOD -- I know this, I have not been as grateful as I should have -but that was then and a new day is upon us - "Mercy there was applied to me" AT CALVARY --
