Old...But Not Dead

Today I celebrate birthday # 62! WOW! What an old man!

Let me share a scripture verse that has become more meaningful with each passing year. We serve a faithful God who has never let me down...and He never will!

The psalmist writes, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." - Psalm 37:25 (NIV)

  7. Hi Mr. Fisher,

I'm just a reader of your blogs. I like to read spiritual writings. I stumbled across your blog last year and have enjoyed them very much, especially those stories that include our mutual friend David Shantz, who I have been friends with since his days in Mississauga. Sadly we have lost touch lately.

I just wanted to wish you a very happy belated birthday and that God will bless you and your family and friends. Keep up with the blogs, I know the hard work and discipline involved in keeping one always up to date and I find them very inspiring.

    Take care & God Bless

P.S. Another funny coincidence is that I'm good friends with a lady here in Mississauga named Teri, who happens to be Mike Fisher's cousin, but on his mother's side of the family. Sometimes it's really a small world...lol.

  8. A very unassuming post Mr. Fisher. It would have escaped my attention...if not for Miss Terry at Canadian Blogger...who gave you a right proper birthday wish.

Happy Birthday kind sir! I pray that you were greatly blessed on your birthday. God has indeed blessed us with you.

Blessing and love in Christ! Susan
