Dear Pilgrims:

"While we walk this pilgrim pathway
Clouds may overspread the sky;
But when trav'lling days are over,
Not a shadow not a sigh.

When we all get to heaven
What a day of rejoicing that will be;
When we all see Jesus
We'll sing and shout the victory!"

Each of our "clouds" may be different today as we launch out into a new experience, another day of God's grace. Clouds of disappointment, discouragement, debt, disease, depression, death of a loved one, etc. will seek to hide His lovely face.

Be assured that the God who forms the clouds that hide the sun knows about your "cloud" and is
still present even though He (and His Son) may appear to be hidden for a time.

Rest in the comfort that Isaiah spoke to God's people, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

  1. One of my favorite verses!

  2. Mine too, Gizmo, whoever you are.

  3. That verse is like one of the lines in the hymn, "How Firm a Foundation". That is one of my favorite hymns, I think I liked it from the first Sunday I learned it.
