Nice photo...Maybe a silly question, but is that a redwings shirt? Or is that because the Sens shirt was worn yesterday...:)
Very perceptive, Hebrews 11:1Matthew likes the Red Wings for some strange reason. His favorite player, Robert Lang, was just signed by the Black Hawks as a free agent.Matthew and I attended the Red Wings/Senators game in Detroit last December.I told him not to wear the Red Wings T-shirt in front of Mike but he did it anyways. Robert Lang signed it after the game.Be encouraged today, dear friend!Much love in Christ,David
Thanks for the laugh, and Thanks a bunch for writing me back, too! At the soccer match last Sunday I came with my family bearing our father's flags, and we sat with our compatriots, friends and family. I did want our team to win, but I have some Italian inmy heart...so in my pocket I carried an Italian flag. We left at halftime, and as soon as we'd descended from teh stands and I was out of reach from those in the stands, I pulled out my Italian flag and began waving it over my head! Of course, they all called me traitor and everything...:) Now I have a bigger dilemma...during that game I wanted "my team" to beat Italy, but this next game is between "my family's team" and the USA...ummm, I am REALLY American, and I don't know how to not go for them. And I have no idea how I'm going to squish my flag in my pocket, r down my shirt, or wherever, but where there's a will, there's a way!Have a blessed day in the Lord.Lil Pilgrim Pal
They are so cute David!!Maybe Matthew will have to change his favorite team!I always like the Black Hawks myself, so did Bernie. One time Bobby Hull took a bunch of the boys from the orphanage where Bernie lived out to a restaurant and he gave them signed posters.Maybe that is why Bernie liked the Black Hawks but I liked them long before Bernie did when I lived in my beloved Manitoba.I must say that Gordie Howe was my favorite player though. He was a Red Wing but the reason I liked him so much is because once when someone threw a guinea pig on the ice he skated over and picked it up and saved its life...I think it is cruel when people throw little animals and octopuses on the ice. They are God's little creatures and I think THAT should be against the law!If they want to throw anything, let them throw down their false teeth! I have heard of THAT being done at wrestling matches.....From Terry
GROSS!!! Do people really do that? I thought they only threw pennies and beer bottles...
Little animals and OCTOPUSES???? Whatever happened to throwing flowers? Is that not manly? Flowers?
