The Pilgrim Pathway

When we bought our home back in 1994 I cut several paths through the woods and the brush in the back "forty". We love walking back there and enjoying the wildness of the terrain.

Last summer I cut another path (see photo) through to the creek that runs across the corner of our lot. We actually have about 10 feet of creek that we can call our own. Wow!

I'm reminded of a verse from the hymn, When We All Get To Heaven:

"While we walk this pilgrim pathway
Clouds may overspread the sky;
But when trav'ling days are over
Not a shadow, not a sigh."

Take the Father's hand and let Him lead you along the "Way"! He will bring you to your desired haven. Trust Him!

  1. Wow David!.. No wonder you were so determined to put these pictures in. They are all so good.
    This picture here looks exactly like Katy's road going into her cottage.
    It is going to be soooo... pretty in the fall, but I don't really want to rush it because autumn will be followed by winter!!
    You, being a hockey player though probably LOVE the winter!!
    I will send you all of Welland's snow if you like..

    What a beautiful lesson you learned from God's creation David and it is always so nice that you take the time to share it with all of us!!
