An Erie Feeling

We're on the road again...this time to Erie, PA where the Blue Jays' AA affiliate, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are playing the hometown Erie Sea Wolves.

It was Matthew's turn to join me on this excursion as Nathan was away at Joy Bible Camp. It was good to connect with long-time friend Dave LaRoche, pitching coach for the Fisher Cats.

We saw a memorable (???) incident when the incensed Sea Wolves first base coach, angered by the ump's call, literally stole 2nd base and took it to the clubhouse after being ejected from the game.

The Fisher Cats take on the Sea Wolves again this afternoon. There's no telling what might happen today!

  1. Joy Bible Camp is still going on David?
This brings the memories flooding back into my soul.
When we lived in Trenton, and attended Lorne Avenue Gospel Hall Sunday School, the Chrisians there used to pay for one or two of the Golden children to go to Joy Bible Camp. My parents would never have been be able to afford it, and to this day we are very thankful to those dear Chrisians.
So nice for a kid to go to Bible camp in the summer!!...From Terry
