Two Sets of G's/G. K. Chesterton

In every picture I've seen of G. K. Chesterton he looks gruff, grumpy and groggy. Here's the best shot I've seen of the renowned author of "Orthodoxy" accepting a dandelion from a little child.

I found the following quote from G. K. on
Bob's blog entitled "gratitude and hoopla" and thought it was well worth passing on.

"Nothing taken for granted; everything received with gratitude; everything passed on with grace." G. K. Chesterton

Thanks, G. K. and thank you Bob!

  1. This is really nice David.
As you know I have no children but whenever one of the Sunday School kids picks me a "weed", and gives it to me, I consider it a real treasure! I will either put it in a button hole on my dress or even have been known to put a dandelion on my Sunday-go-to-meetin'hat!!
