Here's a photo I shot on one of the trips when I took Matthew and Nathan with me.
It reminded me of the prayer time we have each evening at bedtime.
By the time the boys are in bed Carol and I are about ready to drop. They are a real handful but we love them dearly. We often joke about the fact that they will either keep us young or kill us.
Each night we have several people that we pray for specifically. Among them are:
Paula and Grace Ann Kirkland
What a wonderful opportunity to teach these young boys about the power of prayer!
Happy Thanksgiving, dear Canadian friends!
What an adorable picture! Those boys are lucky to be learning the importance of prayer at such a young age.ReplyDelete
I remember when I was little bedtime prayers were always so exciting. In Sunday School we used to share our prayer requests for the week and then I'd update my list every week. Those are such great memories for me!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I'm truly am thankful I found your blog; I consider it to be a real blessing for me.
Happy Thanksgiving yourself David Fisher and Family..ReplyDelete
This IS an adorable picture just like Lauren-Mary says...
It reminds me of a "Norman Rockwell" painting.
Mom always said bed time prayers with the four littlest children in the family.
She wasn't a Chrisitan when we were little kids, so that is something we missed out on.
One of my friends, Susan Adams puts all her prayer requests into a "basket".
I thought that sounded really nice.
I hope you are feeling much better, David..
