Jordan's Return Staaled By Penguins

PORTLY PENGUINS
POSE PROBLEM...

Recently Jordan Staal was heading for the airport in Pittsburgh (that's him on the left...you can't see his head) but was staaled by a phalanx of portly penguins. He tried to get around them but they wouldn't allow it. He missed the plane and had to reluctanly return to the arena. Just kidding...

Now for the "Rest of the Story"...

Jordan Staal (pictured, far left, with brother Eric) is remaining with the Pittsburgh Penguins. After a promising training camp and a great start to the season, the team has decided to keep him with the NHL club rather than returning him to the Peterborough Petes. Jordan has five (5) goals already this season and was promoted to the 2nd line recently.

Our loss is the Penguins gain! We wish you God's best, young man! We'll miss you here but we're thrilled for you!

And that, my friends, is the "Rest of the Story!"

  1. Wouldn't it be great if Jim Balsillie could/would move the Penguins to Peterborough??? Just think, they could be the Peterborough Penguins and we could get Jordan back to Peterborough!

Ah...one can dream anyways! And yes, congratulations to Jordan - we are happy for him but will miss him here in Peterborough!

  2. man... I was holding out on going to a Petes game until staal came back (to get more value for the money). I am very happy for him though...
