So, Who Am I?

Yesterday I glanced at the commentary shelves and realized that I have a plethora of expository books on Paul’s letter to the Romans.

It’s a mixed bag theologically. And, to be honest, if you asked me where I stand in relation to the theological position taken by these godly men, I’d struggle to pigeon-hole myself. There, I’ve been very vague and ambivalent. Sorry, that’s where I’m at.

But, they say “you are what you read!” So tell me…who am I based on these volumes on my shelf? Go ahead! Add you comments. It’ll be an interesting exercise.

Here’s a list in no particular order other than the fact that I’m starting from the left and moving right on my shelf:

Romans 1 – 8 (John MacArthur)
Romans 9 – 16 (John MacArthur)
Romans 5 – 8 (James Montgomery Boice)
Romans (Charles Hodge)
Romans 8:5-7 (D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones)
Romans Verse by Verse (William Newell)
Romans (4 volumes) (Donald Grey Barnhouse)
Romans (Alva McClain)
Romans - Tyndale Series - (F. F. Bruce)

Based on the authors you will guess that I lean towards a Calvinistic position. You may be surprised. Maybe not!
