Big Fish, the old sage, once stated "Even in the midst of our biggest messes, a little sunlight shines through" or something like that.

I've always enjoyed this picture. My desk never looks this bad although they say that "a tidy desk is a sign of a sick mind" or something like that.

So...what's the old sage (or the ol' codger) trying to say today...?

"Enjoy the sunlight of His love! In the midst of our darkest storm, His light shines brightest."

...or something like that.

"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings..." - Malachi 4:2 (KJV)

Enjoy Him today!

  1. Hey David...How did you ever get a picture of my desk??
It is NOT a pretty sight!..from Terry

  2. David, these were great words to read this morning as I look out at a gloomy sky.

May the Son shine in your house today!

  3. *smile*

it's my first day off, after working 4 ... life gets quite busy - and i miss quite time & hubby ...

blessings on you & the fam!

(p.s. everytime there is a "fish" story during these play-offs, leo draws my attention to it! he is enjoying watching Mike become a superstar ... )

  4. Saija--I can relate. I never cared too much about the Sens, maybe because my sister drove me crazy talking about them, but every time I hear the "Little Fish" mentioned, I think of Pilgrim Scribblings and say a prayer.
Mr. Fisher--the desk and encouraging words are uplifting!

  5. Dear David...I hope the Sebators win because if they get to the top and Buffalo gets to the top, I want them to beat the stuffin' out of those Buffalo Sabres!!
And THAT is all I got to say.
You know I rarely talk sports to you David Fisher!!

Have a blessed Lord's Day, you and Angela and Saija and Hebrews 11:1, and all of your hundreds of other readers!........from Terry

  6. Just had to pop in and say that I was just on the Senators' website, and there was the Little Fish--the Sen that greets you on the intro page! Have a blessed day in the Lord, everyone...I'm off to try to listen to the Rangers' game online.
