'Til the Storm Passes By

Thanks to blogging buddy Saija for this picture posted on her blog. I'm so grateful that we can be sheltered in the hollow of His hand 'til the storm passes by.

Let's continue to pray for the thousands who have been devastated by the ravages of Hurricane Katrina.

May they find shelter in the everlasting arms of the God who has everything under control!

'Til the Storm Passes By

In the dark of the midnight
Have I oft hid my face,
While the storms howl above me,
And there's no hiding place.
'Mid the crash of the thunder,
Precious Lord, hear my cry,
"Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by."

'Til the storm passes over,
'Til the thunder sounds no more,
'Til the clouds roll forever from the sky.
Hold me fast, Let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand;
Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by.

  1. Religion - the DRUG of the nation.
    Praying will NOT help anyone.
As with any disaster - it's PEOPLE who help people - predictably, your imaginary 'god' does NOTHING -accept maybe work on his next 'act of love' to unleash upon his beloved people.
Think for yourself - Question Authority.

    Peace.
