My Own Personal Rabbi

Anyone who knows me will understand that I've always held a special place in my heart for the Jewish people. I firmly believe that God isn't finished with His people yet and He has a future in store for them. Now that I've alienated some of my Christian friends and revealed my theological bias, let me get giddy on this last day of 2008.

I've been blessed to have my own personal rabbi who gives spiritual guidance to this pilgrim. Rabbi Paul (pictured) is always there to help out. He is presently under the weather but as soon as he gets better he will be offering help to this struggling Gentile. Paul's synagogue is in Brantford but he also spends a lot of time in Belleville and once every 50 years, in the year of jubilee, he comes to Peterborough.

Please pray for Rabbi Paul that he would recover quickly and enjoy a great Sabbath.

Note: This was written with tongue firmly placed in grinning cheek. Please don't think I've gone off my rocker. I did that years ago.

  1. Sounds good to me!! God definately has a future for the Jewish people! A glorious one at that!
My rockers a bit wobbly too! Praying for Rabbi Paul...

  2. my dear friend David.....

This post made my day!!! and know that my kids would be MORTIFIED to know you made public the picture with that HAT! ( I've lived long enough to be an embarrassment to my children! My live has not been in vain!!! lol )

Seriously, thank you for posting, and for caring and for loving and for praying....

I wish I was closer... I'd come to town tomorrow to see the Pete's game.... it's not a smart place for a Belleville fan tomorrow though!!

Love you brother...... Happy New Year!! see you soon.... in 2009!
