Try Again

There have been no "takers" so far. Nobody has even hazarded a guess as to who this man is/was.

Here's another clue:
He penned the words to one of my favorite hymns:

There is a fountain filled with blood,
Drawn from Immanuel's veins,
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains.

    Sent you an e-mail about the 'Mystery Man' painting posted here. I'm guessing it's a painting ~ I don't think cameras were invented yet when this man was living. I think I've got your answer...we'll soon find out.
