Genuine Worship???

Please listen to this "post" and then let me know, in one sentence, what "Genuine Worship" really is. Thanks so much for taking time to give me your input. God bless!

  1. I've heard a few "quotes" about worship that speak to this topic. One of my favourites is this

    "Worship is an outward expression of an inward affection."

    That might be a good definition of verbal worship, but worship is so much more than verbal. I think that genuine worship has to involve our actions, words, attitudes, our whole lives are to bring Him glory as we are "living sacrifices" (our spiritual act of worship). I suppose one possible definition of genuine worship could be:

    "Intending to do all I do to ascribe honor to God.".

    Whatever genuine worship is, I love it when I see it from others and I desire to do it consistently in my walk with Him.
