Extreme Makeover

This morning as I drove to the ballpark in Toronto I was going over my message (out loud) to a captive audience...me...and decided to record an audio post. Following the "post" I've added the outline for today's Baseball Chapel message delivered to the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays.

this is an audio post - click to play

Today's message could have any one of the following titles:

1. Out on a Limb...
2. The Taxman is in the Branch Office Today...
3. Can You Help Me Out? I’m a Little Short...
4. People Have Looked Down On Me For Years but Jesus Looked Up At Me Today...

In Luke's account in chapter 19, Zacchaeus was . . .

- Short
- Rich
- Hated
- Lost
- Resourceful
- Seen
- Quick
- Hospitable
- Remorseful
- Saved
- Generous
- Changed

Jesus was . . .

- Passing by
- Cognizant of where Zacchaeus was, knew that he was seeking Him out and knew of his sick, spiritual condition
- Willing to be judged for being with a sinner
- Forgiving
- Seeking the lost
- Saving the lost tax collector

When Jesus passes by things change! He changes . . .

- People
- Principles
- Priorities
- Paths/Direction
- Pocketbooks/Stewardship

Are you being changed daily into the likeness of God's Son, Jesus Christ?
