Worried Bird

My friend Stephen Weber posted this photo on his Daily Encouragement site today.

I can "almost" guarantee that this bird is NOT worried. We worry. They don't. Something's wrong!

Aren't we of much more value to the Father than the birds?

  1. In looking through other blog sites, I 'happened' upon yours ... and I know it was not by accident. This post has spoken to me and God knows I needed to read it tonight. We're facing an unknown problem with one of our children tomorrow and this has reaffirmed that I need not worry child and I are of much more value to our Father than the birds.
Thank you and may the Lord bless.

  2. you are always so sweet to find things to share ... that is a great pic off of Stephen's blog ...

    blessings on ya!

  3. Whenever I worry (which is often!)I always repeat Matthew 6:34 to myself:
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Thanks for the reminder to not worry so often. I stopped over here during a break at work. I hadn't stopped by Pilgrim Scribblings for the past week, and looks like I missed a lot of great posts.
Louise- I hope that everything worked out for you.

  4. I had to chuckle at that picture!

Yes, we are worth far more than sparrows. So really, don't worry, be happy AND THANKFUL...that is the key!
